Through our two-way audio link to the operating theatre, constant commentary can be given by the practitioner during the procedure, and questions can be asked by the audience at any stage.

 

 

Facilities

The Clinical Exchange has top of the range training facilities available to hire, either to carry out your own training or to use as a stand-alone meeting venue.

• HD Live camera link and high quality Bose sound system to:
  • CQC-approved local anaesthetic operating theatre,
  • ultrasound room
  • laser treatment room
• Room usage – the training room can be used in a number of ways:
  • Meeting room – for up to 10 people
  • Conference suite – for up to 48 people
  • Training room
• Free parking
• Available seven days a week and evenings

The training facility is split over two floors:

Ground floor – surgical facilities:

• Fully equipped laser-approved, local anaesthetic operating theatre with Siemens Antares 5.0 ultrasound machine, and adjoining scrub room
• Patient changing rooms, recover rooms, and consulting rooms
• Laser-approved treatment room, ready for aesthetic procedures
• Fully serviced Fotona XP-2 and Varilase laser systems
• Consultant surgeons and nurses can be provided if necessary
• Ultrasound room, complete with Siemens Antares 5.0 ultrasound machine, suitable for:
  • venous scanning
  • arterial scanning
  • musculo-skeletal scanning
  • ante-natal and 4d scanning
  • gynaecological scanning
  • abdominal scanning

First floor - Training room/meeting room:

• Can be used in conjunction with the surgical facilities for demonstrating procedures or equipment or stand alone as a training room in its own right.
• All the usual features you would expect from a training facility are available; from catering, to training equipment
